A structural steel workshop needed one system to answer which job is in progress, which plates and sections belong to it, where cut pieces sit on floor pallets, which kit box they go into, and what is missing before dispatch — without living in spreadsheets.

Delivered RapidFab as a React + Express + PostgreSQL platform with multi-company support, CSV geometry and cut-list import, plate/section tracking, kit boxes, sorter pallets, 1D nesting support, events/alarms, role-based access, and operational reports mapped to the physical shop.
Outcome
Shop supervisors and planners get end-to-end floor visibility from job intake through kit readiness, with clearer traceability and fewer missing-piece surprises before trucks leave.
